About this role
In this role, you will be responsible for **reading fabrication drawings, precise assembly of components, and tack welding (hefting) parts prior to welding**. The company's dedicated welders handle the final production welding, so the position focuses primarily on assembly work and working accurately according to technical drawings. **Job Responsibilities** - Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings - Precise assembly and fitting of components - Tack welding and preparation of assemblies for final welding - Quality control and dimensional accuracy checks - Working independently as well as part of a production team **Requirements** - Previous experience in sheet metal work or assembly/fabrication - Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings - Ability to work independently and accurately - MIG/MAG welding skills for assembly and tack welding purposes - Finnish language skills or communicative English **Considered an Advantage** - TIG welding skills - Particularly TIG welding experience with aluminium - Experience working with stainless steel and acid-resistant stainless steel **Materials** The materials used are mainly: - Carbon steel - Stainless steel - Acid-resistant stainless steel - Aluminium **What We Offer** We offer a long-term employment opportunity in a stable company, as well as the chance to utilize and further develop your professional skills through a variety of metal fabrication projects.
