The Role
We are supporting a friendly and sociable gentleman who enjoys getting out and about, particularly visiting his local pub to catch up with friends. He is a big fan of quiz shows, with The Chase being a favourite, and has a strong passion for football, especially Manchester City and Stockport County.
We are looking for someone who shares similar interests and would enjoy spending time with him, supporting him to stay connected to the activities and hobbies he loves.
During day shifts, you will provide support with his personal care needs and assist with any clinical care required, ensuring he remains comfortable, safe, and well supported throughout the day.
During waking night shifts, you will support him in maintaining a restful and comfortable nights sleep. He usually settles for bed around 10:00pm, and you will provide support with personal care throughout the night. This will include catheter care and changes, hourly checks, and repositioning every 34 hours.
