Shifts:Full Time | Days: 7:00am to 8:00pm | Nights: 7:00pm 8:00am & 7:00pm -10:00am

Main duties of the job
Meet Our Client
We are supporting an independent 41-year-old male who is currently studying for a university degree in AI and Technology. He lives at home on his own and enjoys an active, social lifestyle with a strong passion for music, DJing, and attending live events within his local community.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will support him with all aspects of personal care and mobility, ensuring his daily needs are met safely and respectfully.
In addition, you will assist him in maintaining his property, helping to ensure it remains a safe, clean, and well-kept environment.
You will also provide essential day-to-day support, manage clinical interventions where required, and respond flexibly to his individual care needs.

What Youll Need

Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Bowel care/management with digital stimulation, manual evacuation & suppositories. Indwelling catheter management (District Nurses to change 4 weekly) Catheter Bladder washouts daily. NIV 8 hours overnight via face mask Reduced respiratory volume, effort & function manual cough assist, nebuliser use Oral medication (assistance required) Oral diet Normal (assistance required) Full care for personal hygiene, moving & handling & transfers. Passive Movement and exercises arms daily, legs twice weekly Psychological and emotional needs Blood pressure monitoring Oxygen saturation monitoring
