About this role
We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer for this renowned international company in Tienen. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and maintaining data architecture and pipelines Ensuring an efficient data flow across various systems to support colleagues such as data scientists, data analysts, business analysts, etc. Automating data input, transformation, and storage workflows Data processing/orchestration (using Apache Spark & Airflow) Ensuring an excellent data quality standard so that all data is accurate and complete Monitoring and optimization .... Who are you? You preferably have at least 3 years of experience in a data-driven role (data engineer, data scientist, or similar) and hold a relevant (data-driven) degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD) Excellent knowledge of Azure (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Fabric, etc.), SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ETL, Airflow , etc., as well as a strong command of programming languages such as Python and SQL You can explain complex technical concepts clearly and simply to non-technical users
