Job summary

20 hours per week to be worked over a 7 day rota.

£25,853 per annum full time which is £13,788 per annum actual salary.

Salary includes an allowance for working weekends and bank holidays.

St Oswalds is a warm and friendly organisation dedicated to providing compassionate care to those in need. As a Catering Assistant you will play a vital role in helping to create a comforting and welcoming environment for our patients and their families.

You will work as part of St Oswalds catering team supporting the Chefs in the preparation and provision of attractive and nutritious meals for patients, children, staff, volunteers and visitors. Basic catering experience required.

Main duties of the job

This role involves direct contact with vulnerable adults, children, or other at-risk individuals. You will be expected to safeguard and promote the welfare of each child, young person and young adult, maintain an awareness of safeguarding issues and an understanding of standard reporting procedures.
