This is a key post in the provision of administrative and clerical support in gynaecology services and the early pregnancy assessment unit. The clerk is an important and integral part of the ward and department team, and applicants must be willing and able to act on their own initiative and organise their workload effectively and efficiently.

Ability to respond to the demands of the clerical/administrative area and report anything untoward IT skills are required in the role, and the post holder must be prepared to undertake the necessary training to support this
