Main duties of the job As our Porter (Maintenance) you will:
Porter patients around the Hospital safely and on time, following the correct procedures Sort, deliver and frank hospital post as required Collect and dispose of clinical waste and dirty laundry in accordance with policies and procedures Complete driving duties to off-site locations Receipt the delivery of, handling, storage and renewal of medical gas cylinders in line with health and safety requirements Collect and deliver specimens Maintain excellent presentation of the site Assist in delivering Health & Safety/Facilities objectives

To provide general assistance and support within the facilities function and other departments of the hospital.
As our Porter (Maintenance) you will:
Porter patients around the Hospital safely and on time, following the correct proceduresSort, deliver and frank hospital post as requiredCollect and dispose of clinical waste and dirty laundry in accordance with policies and procedures Complete driving duties to off-site locationsReceipt the delivery of, handling, storage and renewal of medical gas cylinders in line with health and safety requirementsCollect and deliver specimensMaintain excellent presentation of the siteAssist in delivering Health & Safety/Facilities objectives

Experience: Experience of working in a customer service / facing environmentPrevious Health & Safety experience advantageous
Qualifications: A basic standard of general education, with good written and verbal skillsTo must be legally entitled to drive in the UK and have no more than 6 points on your license

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
A basic standard of general education, with good written and verbal skills To must be legally entitled to drive in the UK and have no more than 6 points on your license.
Experience Essential
Experience of working in a customer service / facing environment Previous Health & Safety experience advantageous.
