Main duties of the job
The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services at Aintree Hospital.They will attend two to three consultant-led outpatient clinics per week and will be actively involved in daily morning ward rounds and the ongoing management of inpatients as part of the cardiology registrar team.Clinical duties might also include participation in the weekend cardiology daytime on-call rota, with no overnight responsibilities. Attendance at infective endocarditis multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and valve clinic discussions may be included within the clinical sessions.
