About this role

Job summary

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and well-motivated GP to join our team. We currently have approximately 10,000 patients, the management team are also responsible for a further two practices (Mayflower Medical Practice and Field Road Surgery) who have approximately 7,000 and 10,000 patients each.

The successful candidate will be expected to cover at occasionally covering at another site.

Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the contract.

Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

About the practice:

The practice has a Good rating High QOF achievements Based in a purpose built building with generously sized consulting rooms. Uses Systm1 The practice has a full-time pharmacist supported by a network pharmacist who is responsible for medicines management and workflow which reduces GP workload. We are member of a proactive primary care network and Primary Care Doncaster. Host both student nurses and medical students with aspirations to become a postgraduate GP training practice.

Qualifications Essential

Experience of working in a primary care environment Experience of continued professional development Experience of QOF and clinical audit Minimum of two years as a salaried GP General understanding of the primary care contract
