The Bracknell Community Mental Health Service for Adults has an opportunity for a clinician passionate about supporting adults with mental illness and those individuals working with them. We are looking for a new Clinical Team Lead to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team operating Monday - Friday during the hours 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing continued clinical advice, training and supervision to a group of staff operating within a multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder will direct and support the team's allocation of new patients to staff involving a robust understanding and formulation of their risks, presenting concerns and the recommendation for ongoing care including, sometimes, transfer to the most appropriate care pathway.

The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of those staff tasked with providing care to patients presenting with significant complexity and risk and ensure that agreed policies are followed and local arrangements are in place to minimise risk.

The post holder will be responsible for the synergistic working with partner organisations including the relevant Local Authority.
