Nurse Unit Manager
Come join us at Mount Carmel Care Center! We are a Faith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds), nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. Twice voted "Best of the Berkshires," we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents.
• Full-time on Days schedule + Regular and Holiday On-Call rotation.
• $40.50 to $52.50 per hour based on license, skills and experience.
• 30-Bed Unit with Long-Term residents.
• Only Faith-Based Skilled Nursing Facility in the region.
Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
• Current license as RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of Long-Term Care experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Nursing Supervision experience required.
• Must have extensive clinical experience, administrative experience, and training in both nursing and management.
• Must have strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation.
• Current BLS certification.
Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:
• With direction from the DON, supervise the unit's nursing and support staff.
• Manage work schedules, delegate assignments, assign tasks and evaluate employee job performance.
• Coach and discipline staff, as necessary, with cooperation of HR Department.
• Set Unit goals and standards and establish employee policies and procedures.
