About this role
Hacksaw Markets is a B2B prediction-market platform that operators can use to offer prediction markets under their own brands. Most markets are listed and settled automatically. As a Market Analyst, Sports you will handle the exceptions the machines cannot such as ambiguous events, conflicting sources, unusual outcomes and anything that could reach a customer before it is right.
What you will own
• Work the match-day exceptions queue, including unmapped teams, moved events, duplicate listings and feed failures.
• Monitor live markets so they open and close on time and do not remain open after an event starts.
• Draft outcomes for approval when a result requires human interpretation, attaching clear reasoning and sources.
• Review shipped markets from a user’s perspective and flag errors before they become incidents.
• Turn recurring exceptions into clear tooling tickets for operations engineers.
What you bring
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort making precise decisions under time pressure.
• Experience in trading, sportsbook or exchange operations during evenings and weekends.
• Strong knowledge of football and tennis calendars; expertise in another major sport is an advantage.
• Confidence in queue-driven tools and concise operational writing.
• Fluent English; additional languages or strong knowledge of major US sports are advantages.
