Essential Functions
• Plans, schedules and coordinates departmental activities; ensures production goals and quality control standards are met • Supervises and assigns work to production employees; trains, develops, motivates and coaches employees; completes employee performance evaluations • Read and interpret print/drawing dimensions and specifications • Ensures effective employee relations by communicating standards and information clearly, holding employees accountable, and resolving conflict among employees • Maintains continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, reporting production irregularities and continuing needs; provides analysis of inventory levels • Follows company safety procedures and embrace culture of safety within the shop • Ensures the safe and efficient operation of all equipment in the facility; aids in accident investigations • Oversees proper maintenance of shop equipment • Maintains proper housekeeping standards for all work areas • Performs various miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
