Job summary
Undercliffe Surgery are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team. We are ideally looking to fill a full time position but would be open to consider part time job share.
Interviews will be held on Friday 5th June.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be working under the indirect supervision of the nursing team, providing a high standard of care that meets patients needs.
Assisting the clinical team in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
working collaboratively alongside the multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs following the practices policies and procedures.

Undercliffe Surgery is a busy, forward thinking practice in the heart of Heckmondwike with a list size of approximately 10,600 patients. We are part of Spen Health and Wellbeing Primary Care Network and work closely with the other local practices within the PCN providing a collaborative approach to patient care.
We are a friendly dynamic team lead by our two GP Partners. Our clinical team consists of GP's, Advanced Practitioners, Nurses, Nursing Associates and Healthcare Assistants, supported by our secretarial and admin teams. We also work alongside physiotherapists, social prescribers, pharmacists and mental health support workers who are aligned with us through Spen PCN.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Qualified to NVQ level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care Qualified in Phlebotomy
Desirable
Qualified to NVQ level 3 or higher
Experience Essential
Previous experience of working as a Healthcare Assistant in a general practice setting

Experience of using SystmOne Experience of operating and using an ECG machine Experience / training of administering vaccines and injections
