Job summary
The post-holder(s) will work cross site (RDH/QHB) and perform the majority of in patient and clinic duties there, with flexible cath lab sessions and out patients clinics at the RDH site/ QHB site, and full participation in the MDT structure.
Main duties of the job
Delivery of a high-quality cardiology service as a member of UHDB team of 17 Consultant Cardiologists. Will participate in 1:7-8 PPCI rota and regular PCI sessions at Royal Derby Hospital. Participate in the rota for care of inpatients on CCU and other wards.
Participation in Consultant Cardiology of the week and non-resident on-call rota. Attend the regular Imaging, Devices and Interventional MDT meetings at Burton and Derby and with colleagues from the tertiary centre. Carry out cardiology clinics across UHDB and community hospitals.
