Marsh Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive primary care team in Lincolnshire.

Main duties of the job

Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions Provide independent prescribing where qualified Undertake clinical examinations and formulate treatment plans Deliver health promotion and preventative care Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team Support practice improvement initiatives and patient-centred care delivery Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

Marsh Medical Practice was established on 1st July 1996 and we have a practice population of around 7000 patients.
We operate and dispense across two sites, North Somercotes and Manby.
We cover a large part of Coastal East Lincolnshire from Tetney, to South Thoresby and from Louth and its surrounding villages to the coast.
Our goal is to deliver high quality healthcare which is safe, effective, caring and responsive to the needs of our patients by following current best practice recommendations.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines Develop personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs Educate patients on health management, medication use, and preventive care strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards Stay updated with the latest medical research, anatomy knowledge, and clinical practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration Recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification Independent Prescribing qualification (preferred)

Experience working within primary care or general practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Commitment to high standards of patient care
