Main duties of the job As a Residential Care Manager, your role will involve managing and supporting Care Supervisors within the care home to ensure high-quality care delivery for residents. You will ensure that each resident's personal care plan is accurately assessed and documented, and you'll actively support, guide, and develop your team members. Essential duties include ensuring equipment compliance, managing care quality audits, and fostering a culture of respect and compassion. Successful candidates will embody values such as caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Key qualifications include an NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent and at least two years of long-term care experience. A comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards is also required. Avery Healthcare covers the cost of the required DBS Disclosure check and expects proof of eligibility to work in the UK. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring thata high-quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents,maintainingthe best interest in all areas of the resident's wellbeing.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Co-ordinating theresident assessmentprocess, ensuringthatthe planned careisaccurate and reflected in each individual care plan. Supporting,guiding,anddevelopingtheirteammembers. Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstructionsand is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse. Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures. UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.

Qualifications Essential
NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent. A minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry. Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards. Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.
