Shifts: Full Time & Part Time | Nights | 11pm 8am

Main duties of the job
Meet Our Client
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide 1:1 support for a baby girl living at home with her family in Northampton, who has complex healthcare needs.
During night shifts, you will support her with personal care, safe moving and handling, medication administration, and the management of her clinical needs.
You will also closely monitor her wellbeing, ensuring she remains comfortable, safe, and supported at all times.

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Administration and ongoing monitoring of nasogastric (NG) feeding in accordance with agreed protocols. Continuous observation for feed intolerance, including vomiting, distress, or signs of choking. Identification of aspiration risk and aspiration events Complete NG tube safety checks prior to each use. Monitoring for tube displacement
