Spicy Boys Hot Sauce is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our sales team!
We're a locally owned hot sauce company known for bold flavours, great products, and even better customer interactions. We're looking for someone who loves meeting new people, has a knack for sales, and can bring positive energy to our seasonal retail location and local markets.
Responsibilities
* *Retail Sales:* Engage with customers at our seasonal mall location, answer questions, recommend products, and drive sales. * *Markets & Events:* Represent Spicy Boys at local farmers' markets, festivals, pop-ups, and special events. * *Product Knowledge:* Learn our hot sauce lineup and confidently explain flavours, heat levels, and product recommendations. * *Customer Experience:* Create a fun, welcoming shopping experience that keeps customers coming back. * *Store Presentation:* Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked displays, ensuring products are presented professionally. * *Cash Handling:* Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system and handle cash responsibly. * *Setup & Teardown:* Assist with setting up and packing down market booths, displays, and event equipment. * *Inventory Management:* Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and help keep track of inventory.
What We're Looking For
* Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills. * Comfortable approaching customers and starting conversations. * Self-motivated with a genuine interest in sales. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. * Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings. * Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting boxes or event supplies. * Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is an asset, but not required. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate: * Fredericton, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education: * Secondary School (preferred)
Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
