Our End of the Roll Flooring Centre in Bowmanville, ON has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Sales Representative to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sales and design.
A day in the life of
- Greet and assist customers to help find the best flooring suited for them.
- Inform customers of the proper use and care of flooring.
- Generate sales leads, initiate prospective calls, and establish ongoing rapport with existing customers.
- Stay informed of the latest flooring products and emerging industry trends.
- Provide customers with quotes, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales invoices.
- Measure customer spaces to determine how much product is needed.
- General warehouse assistance during quiet times (cleanup, assisting clients with purchases, unloading/loading materials, etc.)
What we need from you
- Possess basic mathematics, reading skills, and computer skills.
- Goal-oriented and driven to reach targets.
- Self-motivated to excel in your role and career.
- Flooring experience required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (boxes and roll ends).
- High energy and passion.
- Ability to work 20 hours a week.
- Required to work on Saturdays, holidays, and evening hours.
