About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy House Helper / Housekeeper to support a private family household in Chestermere. The ideal candidate enjoys maintaining a clean, organized home, can work independently, and is comfortable assisting with household errands and driving duties.
*Please note:* A personal vehicle is required for this position. Candidates must be able to reliably travel to the work location in Chestermere and return home independently, as public transportation options may be limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the home
- Complete laundry tasks, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing
- Assist with basic meal preparation and kitchen cleaning
- Organize household items and maintain an orderly living environment
- Run household errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, pickups, and deliveries
- Provide transportation for household-related appointments and activities as required
- Drive family vehicles or use personal vehicle for authorized errands when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving within Calgary, Chestermere, and surrounding areas
- Access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, caregiver, or household support experience preferred
- Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Driving Requirement
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must own a reliable vehicle and be able to commute independently to and from the work location in Chestermere
- Comfortable driving within Calgary, Chestermere, and surrounding areas for household-related errands and appointments
- Proof of valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
