Work setting: Various locations.
Tasks
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
- Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.
- Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
- Develop computerized pattern and layout.
- Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
- Fit and join sheet metal parts.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
