Education: College/CEGEP. Electrical, electronic and communications engineering technology/technician. Instrumentation technology/technician. Industrial electronics technology/technician. or equivalent experience.
Tasks
- Inspect operation of instruments and systems.
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Repair and adjust system components.
- Complete test and maintenance reports.
- Remove and replace defective parts.
- Calibrate components and instruments.
- Logical approach for troubleshooting.
- Determine testing and maintenance procedures.
- Install new measuring instruments.
- Coach and instruct apprentices.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
- Hand-eye co-ordination.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Personal suitability: Organized.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
