About this role
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex.
Tasks
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform safety and security checks.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
- Handling heavy loads.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Employment terms options: Morning. Day.
Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
