The post will be based at various sites across the trust including Moseley Hall Hospital and West Heath Hospital Birmingham.
The postholder will assist the existing resident workforce providing a more consistent and robust substantive workforce, as well as improving current out-of-hours on call rota capacity.
Main duties of the job
Moseley Hall Hospital provides intermediate care for older adults, specialist rehabilitation for stroke and patients with complex needs after neurological conditions and trauma. West Heath Hospital provides intermediate care for older adults and End of Life provision.
These services form part of the Adult and Specialist Rehabilitation Division of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust employs more than 5000 staff delivering over 100 clinical services for Birmingham and the West Midlands.
