About this role
Under the direction of the Restaurant Chef, the incumbent receives and processes all room service orders. High School diploma or GED equivalent as well as six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience required. Must possess refined speaking and listening skills. Required to become proficient with department specific computer programs. Ability to read and write short memos. Must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to do basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as they apply to job functions. Position requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing, writing and keyboarding. Position is located in a kitchen area which can be hectic, hot, loud and sometimes crowded and noisy.
