Fedway Associates is seeking a Sales Administration & Business Analyst to join the team.
Position Summary:
The Sales Administration & Business Analyst supports the sales organization through accurate reporting, data analysis, supplier program administration, and day-to-day operational support. This position serves as a key link between sales leadership, sales teams, supplier partners, and internal departments by ensuring information is accurate, timely, organized, and actionable.
A primary focus of this role is improving the accuracy and consistency of sales reporting. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of sales data, identifying discrepancies and trends, building reports, and translating information into clear insights for management.
The position also supports supplier programs, sales initiatives, presentations, meetings, and other administrative functions necessary to keep the sales organization operating efficiently.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales market share reports.
• Analyze sales performance by supplier, brand, SKU, account, salesperson, team, territory, and channel.
• Compare current performance to prior-year results, exclusive versus non-exclusive business, goals, and established sales targets.
• Assist with the administration and tracking of supplier programs, incentives, goals, and sales initiatives and Platinum Club.
• Review reports for accuracy, investigate discrepancies prior to distribution, and partner with internal departments to validate data and resolve reporting issues.
• Maintain standardized reporting formats and track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing concise summaries of important findings.
• Develop Excel-based dashboards, scorecards, trackers, and management summaries.
• Assist sales leadership with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in sales administration, business analysis, sales operations, reporting, or a related position preferred.
• Experience in wine & spirits, beverage distribution, consumer packaged goods, hospitality, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office, PowerPont, Power BI and Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, filters, conditional formatting, and data organization.
• Experience creating dashboards, charts, and reporting.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of information while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, identify problems, and follow through to resolution.
Physical Demands:
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, and move about the office.
Compensation:
• Salary starts at $55,000/annually, paid weekly, commensurate with experience.
