About this role
We are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of the company’s finance function. As the key finance owner in the company, the Finance Manager manages the finance function end-to-end. The Finance Manager works closely with the CEO on financial planning, cashflow management, forecasting, reporting, and accounting.
The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong finance fundamentals with business acumen, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing company environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Prepare and manage company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans Develop and maintain: P&L forecasts Cashflow projections Budget vs actual reporting Financial dashboards and KPI reporting Support scenario planning and financial modelling for business decisions
Business Planning
Advise the CEO with financial analysis and business insights Assist with cost management and profitability tracking Provide financial input for operational and strategic initiatives
Financial Operations
Do accounting using XeroOversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting Monitor company cashflow, expenses, and working capital Ensure timely and accurate financial closing processes Improve finance workflows, controls, and reporting systems
Audit & Compliance
Prepare company accounts, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for annual financial auditsCoordinate annual financial audits and liaise with external auditors Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory filings Work with external accountants, tax agents, and corporate secretariesPrepare regular reports to shareholders Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a finance management or FP&ADegree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Strong experience in: Financial forecasting Budgeting and FP&A Cashflow management Financial reporting Audit coordination Good understanding of accounting standards and financial controls Experienced in company financial auditsStrong Excel / financial modelling skills Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently Experience working in SME, startup, SaaS, or technology environments is an advantage Benefits
