Saalex is seeking an AMBIT/SIS Technical Specialist in Corona, CA. Saalex is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services.

Salary: $100K -$125K (depending on experience)
Work Location: This is a remote position. Preference for candidates near Corona, CA.
Job Summary:
The AMBIT/SIS Technical Specialist supports remote deployment, field integration, system evaluation, and operational sustainment of advanced systems including RF equipment, IT networks, cybersecurity capabilities, telemetry systems, electrical/mechanical integrations, and related technologies.
Essential Functions:
Provide systems engineering support for AMBIT and SIS programs, including remote and distributed system environmentsSupport analytics, modeling, and simulation efforts related to local and regional situation awarenessPerform requirements analysis, system decomposition, and interface definitionSupport system architecture development and evaluation of system performanceAssist with integration of software, data sources, and remote system componentsAnalyze system behavior, tradeoffs, and performance metrics to support operational decision-makingSupport system verification, validation, and test planning activitiesDevelop and maintain technical artifacts, including:System design documentationRequirements traceability matricesInterface and operational concept documentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, analysts, and stakeholdersSupport lifecycle activities including development, deployment, sustainment, and enhancementRequirements
Required:
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in systems engineeringDemonstrated experience supporting complex systems in analytical or operational environmentsExperience with:Requirements analysis and system-level engineeringRemote or distributed systemsModeling, simulation, or analytical toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams
Desired:
Experience supporting AMBIT, SIS, or situational awareness systemsBackground in:Analytics platforms or data-driven systemsModeling and simulation tools or frameworksExperience supporting government or DoD programsFamiliarity with systems engineering best practices and lifecycle processesExperience developing or supporting decision-support or intelligence-related systems Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Systems, Computer, Electrical, Software, or related).
Security Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance required. Requirements to obtain clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
