Role OverviewInterpath is seeking a skilled data analyst and Power BI developer to join our team and support internal business intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will transform large, complex datasets into presentable dashboards and reports for business decision-making. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet them.
Responsibilities:Create intuitive, high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex datasets into actionable business insightsPerform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processesWrite and optimize DAX to create complex calculations and measuresPartner with business units to capture requirements, translate business questions into technical specifications, and deliver data-driven solutionsEnsure the accuracy, reliability and security of data presented in enterprise-level dashboardsFacilitate training sessions and create documentation to empower end-users to navigate reports and adopt a self-service data cultureManage the Power BI Service environment (workspaces, gateways, and refresh schedules) and troubleshoot connectivity or performance issuesStay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practicesRequirements
Essential Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a similar roleBachelor's degree in a related fieldProficiency in Power BI and other data visualisation toolsExperience with SQL, DAX, and other data languagesStrong understanding of data analysis, modelling and visualisation principlesDevelop best practices and standards for BI processes and documentationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
Desirable Criteria:
Experience managing and deploying resources within Microsoft AzureProficiency in PythonProficiency in Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power PlatformFamiliarity with machine learning concepts and predictive analyticsExperience within a consulting or professional services environment
