La Pausa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Copenhagen. The position is available for immediate start, and we are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term position. Responsibilities Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen tasks across different types of cuisine Support all general kitchen operations as needed Keep the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times Receive, check and organise deliveries and ingredients Follow food safety and hygiene standards Maintain and clean the dishwashing area Wash dishes, kitchen equipment and utensils when required Carry out other kitchen-related duties as needed Requirements Good English communication skills are required Careful, responsible and detail-oriented Clean, hygienic and well-organised Physically fit and able to handle a busy kitchen environment Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene Must be available to work a substantial number of hours each week and have good flexibility. This position is not suitable for someone who can only work one or two days or a limited number of hours per week We are looking for someone who can commit to the position long-term, rather than someone looking for temporary or short-term work Workplace: La Pausa, Ewaldsgade 7, 2200 Copenhagen N Start date: Immediately
