Offshore/Onshore L2 Rope Access Painter / QC – Denmark Offshore Sector Join Altrad on long-term offshore fabric maintenance and protective coating projects within the Danish Offshore Energy sector. We are looking for experienced IRATA Level 2 Rope Access Painters with additional QC experience and recognised trade qualifications to support offshore maintenance campaigns across Denmark. We need Danish Candidates or Candidates that currently live in Denmark This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing offshore work on a stable 2/3 rotation while working with established offshore teams in demanding offshore environments. The Role As an L2 Rope Access Painter / QC, you will carry out offshore rope access painting, surface preparation, inspection support, and coating quality control activities on offshore installations. You will work within multi-discipline offshore maintenance teams ensuring all coating works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with offshore specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out offshore rope access painting and coating activities Perform surface preparation including mechanical preparation, grinding, power tooling, and cleaning Apply protective coatings using brush, roller, and spray application methods Conduct coating inspections and basic QC reporting activities Measure and record DFT readings and coating compliance checks Support fabric maintenance and corrosion protection programmes offshore Ensure all work complies with client specifications and offshore quality standards Follow offshore HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems Participate in toolbox talks and offshore safety meetings Maintain rope access and painting equipment in safe working condition Complete daily reports, QC documentation, and inspection records where required Requirements Essential Experience Previous offshore rope access painting experience within Oil & Gas IRATA Level 2 certification with offshore experience Experience with industrial coatings and offshore maintenance projects Experience carrying out basic paint QC inspections and reporting Strong understanding of offshore safety standards and working practices Ability to work effectively within offshore teams Good communication skills Required Certifications Candidates must hold valid certification including: IRATA Level 2 (L2) BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS Valid Offshore Medical Certificate Painter Trade Certificate / Quality Trade Qualification Basic Paint QC qualification or coating inspection experience preferred Rotation & Package Offshore/Onshore rotation: 2 weeks on / 3 weeks off Competitive offshore rates Paid travel, accommodation, and meals Long-term offshore project opportunities Ongoing work within the Danish offshore sector Location Offshore Denmark Danish Offshore Energy installations To apply, please send your CV and certifications via the application link below.
