About this role

Job summary The Radiological Physics and Radiation Protection Service forms part of the Medical Physics & Clinical Engineering Department at LTHT. The service provides specialist scientific, technical and radiation protection support in the diagnostic imaging field. This includes the delivery of a comprehensive quality assurance programme and the monitoring of patient, staff and environmental radiation doses. Through this work, we help to ensure regulatory compliance for the Trust and external customers

Main duties of the job We are seeking a registered clinical technologist to join our growing team of clinical scientists and clinical technologists. The successful candidate will work closely and effectively with technical, scientific and clinical colleagues across a wide range of imaging modalities to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service. The post is based within our newly refurbished accommodation at Leeds General Infirmary, with regular travel between Trust sites and to our customer locations across West and North Yorkshire.
