Remote VA is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Biller for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for processing medical claims, submitting invoices to insurance providers, following up on unpaid claims, and ensuring accurate billing procedures. This remote position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with medical billing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input and submit medical claims to insurance companiesReview patient records to verify insurance details and billing informationFollow up on denied or unpaid claims and resubmit as neededCommunicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issuesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of billing codes and regulationsPrepare and submit billing reports and summaries to managementUtilize tools such as ClickUp, Google Suite, and medical billing software for workflow managementRequirements
Qualifications:
Proven medical billing experienceFamiliarity with medical billing software and platforms such as Trizetto Simple ClaimProficient with Google Suite and ClickUpExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication abilities for interacting with clients and insurance providersAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST)
