We are looking for a part time Practice Nurse (24 hours over 3 days) to join our team at Bridge End Surgery
Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the Primary Healthcare Team.

Job description Job responsibilities
Support the management of long term conditions Provide appropriate health promotion for patients with or at risk of long term conditions Manage and treat long term conditions in line with most current national and local guidelines Cervical smear taking Routine childhood vaccinations Adult vaccinations Seasonal vaccinations (Covid/flu) Supporting the practice in achieving QOF targets and enhanced services Contribute to the provision of education and training for other staff and students Participate in research and audit where appropriate Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous records at all times Attend and participate in any meetings when required Any other delegated duties appropriate to the role Flexibility of working to ensure sufficient cover is provided for nurse holidays/sickness
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience of working with EMIS clinical system Knowledge of QOF, NICE guidance and national screening programmes Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills Excellent time management skills/ability to prioritise and manage own time
Qualifications Essential
RGN Qualification Current NMC Registration Significant primary care or relevant experience Management and education of patients with chronic disease/long term conditions Evidence of ongoing CPD and revalidation Certified in immunisations and vaccinations Cervical smear taking
