We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Urbana location (407 E University Ave). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while maintaining strong connections with the people you serve. You'll play a vital role in ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers within assigned routesPlan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery time commitmentsInspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptlyHandle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent conditionInteract professionally and courteously with customers, addressing questions and concernsMaintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all transactionsFollow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe driving practicesManage multiple deliveries per shift while maintaining organizational standardsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any obstaclesContribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and reliability Must be at least 18 years of ageValid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving historyClean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company-specific standardsAccess to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposesDemonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous rolesStrong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanorAbility to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyExcellent time management and organizational skillsBasic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety proceduresAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededStrong communication skills, both written and verbalWillingness to pass a criminal background checkPositive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service BENEFITS
