About this role
We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Edwardsville location (120 E Vandalia St). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to provide exceptional service while maintaining efficiency and professionalism on every route.
Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within the Edwardsville areaPlan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service to all customersProvide friendly, professional customer service and represent our organization positively at every stopMaintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures and delivery confirmationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptlyNavigate using GPS and mapping systems while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and road safetyHandle cash and card transactions securely and accuratelyCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any customer concernsMaintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exteriorAdhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's licenseMinimum 2 years of verifiable driving historyMust pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standardsAccess to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery purposesExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededProficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile technologyReliable transportation and consistent attendanceProfessional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularlyValid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for deliveryWillingness to pass a criminal background checkMBR Management Corporation is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
