Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes throughout Columbia and surrounding areasPlan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service to all customersMaintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructionsProvide friendly and professional customer service at each delivery stop, addressing questions and concerns with a positive attitudeInspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs promptlyHandle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent conditionNavigate using GPS and route planning tools to maximize efficiency and minimize travel timeCommunicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer issuesMaintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all timesComply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's licenseMinimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standardsAccess to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposesMust pass a comprehensive Motor Vehicle Record Check and criminal background checkStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency with GPS navigation and route planning technologyPhysical capability to safely lift and carry packages of varying sizesReliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery deadlinesCustomer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional demeanorAbility to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and routesPreferred: Familiarity with the Columbia area and local geography BENEFITS
