Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver packages to customers throughout the Berkeley areaPlan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiencyInspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance checksHandle packages with care, ensuring they are loaded, transported, and delivered in excellent conditionCommunicate professionally with customers, addressing questions and concerns with a friendly demeanorMaintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipmentsFollow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe driving practicesProvide exceptional customer service and represent the organization positively in all interactionsMeet daily delivery targets and performance goals while maintaining quality standardsReport any vehicle issues or delivery complications to management promptly Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's licenseMinimum 2 years of driving history if 18 years old; minimum 1 year of driving history if 19 years or olderMust have access to an insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery useMust pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check meeting company-specific standardsMust pass a criminal background checkStrong knowledge of local roads and navigation skills (or willingness to use GPS/mapping tools)Excellent time management and punctuality skillsAbility to lift, carry, and handle packages safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindsetPositive attitude, reliability, and professional demeanorAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyPhysical capability to perform delivery duties in various weather conditionsFamiliarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting (preferred) MBR Management Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
