About this role
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team at our Maplewood location on Manchester Rd. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. You'll be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with care.
Operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocolsPlan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet daily delivery schedules and customer expectationsLoad, unload, and secure products in the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are protected during transportMaintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and any delivery notes or exceptionsProvide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery stop, addressing customer inquiries and concernsPerform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage promptlyNavigate using GPS systems and maps to locate delivery addresses accurately and efficientlyMeet or exceed daily delivery targets while maintaining a safe driving recordCommunicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience operating delivery vehicles or commercial vehiclesStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyFamiliarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning toolsPhysical capability to perform loading and unloading dutiesReliability and consistent punctualityKnowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in the Maplewood area (preferred)Experience with delivery management software or systems (preferred)Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members BENEFITS
