About this role
We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Mount Vernon location (805 Salem Rd). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the Mount Vernon area. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to provide exceptional delivery experiences while maintaining efficiency and professionalism on every route.
Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned territories within Mount Vernon and surrounding areasPlan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation and route optimization toolsProvide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop, ensuring customer satisfactionHandle packages with care, maintaining product quality and integrity during transportMaintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and delivery confirmationsPerform vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues or concerns promptlyAdhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicleCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any obstacles encounteredBuild positive relationships with customers and represent the organization professionally at all timesMeet daily delivery targets and performance goals while maintaining a flexible, can-do attitude Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's licenseMinimum 2 years of verifiable driving historyAccess to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery operationsMust pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standardsMust pass a criminal background checkStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic technologyAbility to lift and carry packages safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery schedulesProfessional demeanor with a positive attitude and genuine smileValid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for deliveriesPreferred: Previous delivery or customer service experience BENEFITS
