About this role
We are looking for someone who:
Provide a safe, secure environment for our pupils, staff, parents and visitorsMaintain the school’s swimming poolCarry out basic maintenance of siteOversight and secure the building at the start and end of the daySupervise lettings and be available in the evening and at weekends (paid at overtime rate)Undertake some cleaning duties and supervise the work of our existing cleaners, janitor and site supervisorOversee health and safety aspects within the schoolLiaise and deal with contractorsTo be on call as a designated key holder for emergency access to the premises

This position is subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions as part of the recruitment process. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record and other relevant safeguarding information that may make them unsuitable to work with children.
