Pay Scale: BR6 SP 17 FTE £27,262 pa (£11,850 pa actual)
Hours: 18.75 hours per week - 38 weeks per year
Hours: 2.45pm - 6.30 pm Monday to Friday term time plus the opportunity to work in our Holiday Club if desired.
About the role
To fully deputise the After School Club manager over both schools but will be based at the Infant school site. To take the lead as DSL and provide medical needs of children in the club.
You must hold a DfE approved NVQ L3 Early Years qualification https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england. You must also work off your own initiative and be a well organised, friendly and outgoing individual who enjoys working with children and working in a team. You would be joining our existing well established team of Play Workers in providing a fun and safe environment for all the children that attend.

You should:
be committed to ensuring a safe and fun environment for childrenbe first aid trained or willing to undertake trainingbe able to work as part of a teamhold a DfE approved NVQ L3 Early Years qualificationhave a willingness to undertake training as required, to include DSL and First Aid and other training as requiredbe able to communicate well with children and adultshave a good sense of humourCrofton School is committed to the well-being of all their staff and have several incentive schemes for staff passing their probationary period. We also have various training for staff including safeguarding, FGM, Prevent, Food hygiene and first aid.
