About this role
Do you want to teach somewhere you are known, valued and supported to flourish? At Pedmore, every child is known by name and every adult matters. We are a Church of England primary school on the edge of Stourbridge, and we are looking for a caring, creative class teacher to join our team.
At Pedmore you will find colleagues who share ideas, look out for each other and celebrate each other's successes.
"Thank you for your interest in joining our school family. At Pedmore, our Christian vision is not words on a wall. It shapes how we greet each child in the morning, how we support each other on a hard day, and how we help every child believe they can achieve. If you want to teach somewhere that cares about you as much as the children, we would love to hear from you."
David Dunn, Head Teacher
Our Christian vision: "Love one another, as I have loved you" (John 13:34)Our vision is rooted in Jesus' command to love one another.
"Learning together in Happiness, Respect, Trust and Compassion." These four values guide how children learn and how adults work together:
Happiness — we want children and staff to find real joy in learning and in school life
Respect — respect for everyone and everything, whatever our differences, sits at the heart of our school rules: Ready, Respect, Safe
Trust — we do what is right, so children, families and colleagues can rely on each other
Compassion — when someone falls, we help them up
We are an inclusive church school that welcomes families and staff of all faiths and none. Daily collective worship, close links with our parish church and a values-rich curriculum help every child grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
