Parkview Manor is seeking a caring candidate with a positive attitude to join our team as a Dietary Aide. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving and cleanup of meals under the direction of the Cook or Dietary Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone in school! As a non-profit organization, we are committed to providing services and support to provide dignified and compassionate care to our residents.
What you'll do as a Dietary Aide:
• Assures the dining room is prepared for the meal to be served at the specified times • Assures food, dinnerware and kitchen equipment is either properly disposed of or clean/sanitized according to schedules and ready for the following shift • Responds appropriately to all resident requests on an individual basis • Interacts with residents/staff in a positive way while doing food preparation and food service
What you'll need as a Dietary Aide:
• Must be 16 years of age or older • Strong customer service background • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
