Management Level: Class 5 Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's Hours - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Pay - 23.65/Hr. Job Description:
• This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. • Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS: “The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.”
• Must have basic math skills. • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. • Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. • Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. • Must be willing to pinch/grip product and place into specified location. • This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. • Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner • Must not have more than 4 attendance occurrences. Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months. Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
