Job Description:
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and components required to support production operations. This position coordinates material planning, inventory control, supplier follow-up, and demand requirements to ensure production continuity while optimizing inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan material requirements based on production demand. • Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability. • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain on-time delivery performance. • Analyze demand trends and forecast material needs. • Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks. • Support inventory optimization initiatives. • Maintain accurate planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems. • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supplier teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. • 1–3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, supply chain, or logistics. • Advanced English proficiency. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of inventory control and demand planning. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with ERP systems.
