About this role
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to support the development of launch equipment and launch interfaces. You will work across engineering disciplines to ensure our products meet structural requirements throughout testing, launch and deployment. Key responsibilities Set up and perform structural analyses, defining modelling approaches, material properties, boundary conditions and load cases. Create, refine and assess finite element meshes to ensure reliable and efficient analyses. Perform static, modal, buckling and dynamic analyses of launch equipment and launch interfaces. Translate system and launcher requirements into structural design inputs and verification criteria. Work closely with mechanical, systems, electrical and manufacturing engineers to develop practical, integrated solutions. Guide design decisions through assessments of strength, stiffness, stability and mass. Support vibration and structural testing, correlate models with test results and investigate discrepancies. Prepare analysis reports and contribute to design reviews and verification documentation.
