About this role
Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes, shears, rollers, ironworkers, and welding equipment.
• Measure, cut, form, and prepare materials while maintaining quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect completed work, troubleshoot fabrication issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, material handling, inventory organization, and general shop operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while collaborating with production teams to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
• 2-5 years of sheet metal fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and measuring instruments.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment and welding tools.
• Knowledge of fabrication methods, material properties, and shop safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding work.
