Stout Roofing is hiring a Metal Roofing Foreman to join our growing team! We're looking for an experienced, safety-minded metal roofer who can lead a crew and work alongside them on the roof. You'll handle standing seam, coping cap, and architectural metal projects across the Phoenix metro area. This is a hands-on role for someone who can immediately add value in the field and in the shop.
What You'll Do:
• Lead the metal crew and work alongside them on daily installation
• Install standing seam panels, coping caps, custom trim, and flashing
• Measure, cut, hem, and bend metal on site to fit roof transitions and penetrations
• Install ice/water shield, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, and counter-flashing to code and manufacturer specs
• Read roof plans, shop drawings, and flashing details
• Serve as the main point of contact for superintendents and project managers
• Run pre-work hazard checks and enforce OSHA safety standards, including fall protection, PPE, and heat safety
• Own quality control and daily jobsite cleanup
• Manage the metal shop, including running the brake and shear and managing flat stock inventory (we'll train on shop equipment if needed)
What We're Looking For:
• 3+ years of hands-on metal roofing experience (standing seam required)
• Experience leading or running a crew
• Your own core hand tools (snips, seamers, hand brakes, etc.)
• Ability to work at heights in Arizona weather and lift up to 75 lbs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• OSHA 10/30 a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
